1. What WhaChat Does
WhaChat provides live chat, website widget installation, visitor intelligence, status updates, notifications, agent workflows, account verification, billing receipt history, renewal notices, and support dashboard tools for businesses.
2. Information We May Collect
Depending on how a workspace is configured, WhaChat may process account details, business profile details, chat messages, attachments, visitor session data, website domain data, device/browser information, status views, replies, support activity, subscription status, invoice references, and billing receipt information.
3. How Information Is Used
We use information to operate the chat widget, deliver messages, verify account access, send transactional emails, show notifications, manage workspaces, protect allowed domains, synchronize plan access, provide support and billing history, improve reliability, and help businesses respond to website visitors.
4. Client Website Visitors
When WhaChat is installed on a client website, visitors may interact with the widget. The business that owns that workspace is responsible for explaining its own visitor support practices and any local compliance requirements.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared only where needed to provide the service, process subscriptions through Stripe, deliver email or hosting infrastructure, comply with law, protect the platform, or support a business workspace. WhaChat does not store raw payment-card numbers or security codes. When a visitor uses the public currency converter, the website requests current reference-rate data from Frankfurter; normal connection data such as an IP address may be handled by that service's delivery infrastructure.
6. Security
WhaChat uses protected routes, account access controls, allowed-domain checks, and server-side storage controls. No internet service can be guaranteed perfect, but the platform is designed to reduce unnecessary exposure.
